Who provides your care

All medical services are provided by HLY Medical Group PA through clinicians licensed in your state, delivered by telehealth in all 50 states. Flourish Method provides coaching. It does not practice medicine, prescribe, or dispense medication, and it does not influence what a clinician prescribes.

Coaching is not medical care

Flourish coaching is not medical care. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and it does not replace the advice of your physician. Talk to your healthcare provider before changing any medication, diet, or exercise program.

Body composition scans are an estimate for tracking change over time. They are not a diagnostic test.

Treatment is prescribed only where it fits

A clinician reviews your history, your symptoms, and where it applies your labs, then prescribes only when treatment is clinically indicated. Booking a visit or paying for a program does not guarantee a prescription. A clinician can decline to treat, recommend something different, or ask you to be seen in person.

Compounded medications

Some treatments use compounded medications prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. They are prescribed only where a clinician judges a compounded formulation appropriate for you.

What published results do and do not mean

Results vary. Clinical trial results apply only to the FDA-approved branded medication specifically identified and do not apply to compounded medications. All medications must be prescribed by a licensed provider based on medical necessity.

Where this site cites trial data, the source is named. Those trials studied branded medications, usually at maintenance doses and alongside diet and exercise support. They are context for a conversation with your clinician, not a forecast of your own result.

GLP-1 medications

GLP-1 medications are not suitable for everyone. Side effects are common, most often gastrointestinal, and there are risks your clinician will go through with you, including rare but serious ones. They are not appropriate during pregnancy, while trying to conceive, or while breastfeeding, and certain personal or family medical histories rule them out. Tell your clinician about every medication and supplement you take, and about any history of pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, or thyroid cancer.

Hormone therapy

Testosterone therapy and hormone therapy for women call for lab work before and during treatment, and carry risks that depend on your own history, including effects on fertility. Testosterone is a controlled substance, so prescribing and refills follow federal and state rules and can require extra verification. Doses are adjusted over time based on your results rather than set once and left alone.

Off-label prescribing

Some treatments here are prescribed off-label, which means a medication approved for one purpose is used for another at a clinician's discretion. This is legal and common in medicine. Peptides including BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, DSIP, Epithalon, and MOTS-c are not FDA-approved. NAD+, rapamycin, metformin used for longevity, methylene blue, and enclomiphene are prescribed off-label where a clinician judges it appropriate for you.

Lab testing and results

Lab results are information, not a diagnosis. A reference range describes a population, so a number inside or outside one still has to be read alongside your symptoms and your history. The Galleri test is not FDA-approved and is intended to complement, not replace, standard cancer screening. A continuous glucose monitor does not diagnose diabetes.

No guarantees

Individual results vary, and nothing on this site is a promise of a particular outcome. Photographs on this site are illustrative and are not patients, and anything labeled illustrative is an example rather than patient data.

Medication safety

• Tell your clinician about every prescription, over-the-counter medication, and supplement you take.
• Do not start, stop, or change a medication prescribed by another clinician without speaking to them.
• Never take medication prescribed for someone else, and never give yours to anyone.
• Report side effects to your care team. If a reaction is severe, get emergency help first and tell the team afterward.
